Every Tuesday around 5:45pm, the children’s room at Roots of Faith gets filled with kids. We talk a lot about the Circles program and how great our leaders are doing but I felt it was time to talk about one of our unsung heroes. Sue Wasser runs the childcare program for Circles. Each week sue prepares fun activities for 5-7 children. Currently Sue has 3 children in the class who are on the spectrum. I don’t know how she does it, but when I make my rounds on Tuesday night, sue has the kids entertained and doing fun activities. Sue does arts and crafts with the kids, and if you look closely at the picture, one of the kids is painting a flower on the wall. Without childcare many families would miss out on the circles program. I can’t begin to say enough about the impact Sue has on the Circles program and how grateful we are to have her.
