On Sunday, August 19th you are invited to bring your pets of all shapes and sizes to an outdoor Blessing of the Animals Worship Service & Hymn Sing (meows, woofs, purrs, and howls permitted).
We are launching a new initiative at Roots of Faith called Seed Planting Events. We want to do a better job at telling our story to the community by offering these brief 45 minute “overviews” for people to see and experience our programs firsthand. The next scheduled Seed Planting event is July 2nd at 6:00 PM. We would be delighted if you could attend to learn more about the many ways that Roots of Faith is transforming our community! Our congregation is responsible for the Neighborhood Table meal at Roots of Faith on this coming Thursday, June 21.
Please consider contributing in one of the following ways:
Help cook/prepare the meal at 9:00 AM on Thursday, 6/21 in the Faith kitchen
Bring a dessert for the meal to the church on Sunday, 6/17 (we will freeze), on Thursday, 6/21 before 4:00 PM, or to Roots of Faith on Thursday. Please label desserts left at the church “TNT”.
Help to serve the meal and engage in fellowship at Roots at 6:00

Join Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi on an adult prayer retreat this summer. There will be times of learning about prayer and how to pray. There will be great conversations, free time to explore Jumonville, campfires, fellowship and wonderful food. Participants will be staying in private rooms at Jumonville’s Inn, so space is limited to 9 rooms. The cost of this event is $190.
