Fall at Fox Hill Preschool By Preschool Director, Denise Patricca -

Excitement is in the air! Students and teachers are preparing for the Harvest Fest! The Barnyard Company is bringing their special animals to Fox Hill! Children will feed the many different animals with a baby bottle. We have two special animals coming this year: a baby Camel and a Zebra. Additionally, the teachers are preparing for our wonderful Harvest Fest by developing awesome lesson plans. Some of the plans will explain seeds, the life-cycle of a pumpkin, and several different animals. Some of the vocabulary words the children may be echoing are camouflage, hibernation, and migration. We can’t wait to celebrate this wonderful day on our beautiful grounds at Fox Hill Preschool!

Vine of Faith Kicks Off Another Year -

By Pastor Scott Shaffer

Have you ever played a live game of Quiddich (the fictional sport from Harry Potter)? Ever crafted your own cardboard sword to experience life as a first-century Centurion? At our first Vine of Faith gathering of the year, we did all this and more. We welcomed two new students into the group this year, for a total of 16 teenagers in grades 6-12. Weekly gatherings include dinner, games, bible discussion, video-based lessons, and hands-on activities. If you know anyone in middle- or high-school who doesn’t already have a church home, invite them to Vine of Faith

Roots Prayer Team By Associate Pastor, Ben Phipps -

The Roots of Faith Prayer Team launched a new prayer activity and ministry this past summer. The team transformed decorative tree branches into a “Prayer Tree.” Various colored ribbons are set out, each color corresponding to a general category (e.g. Red = health concerns). Dozens of prayers have been symbolically tied to the tree branches, reminding all who come to Roots of Faith that all we do is grounded in prayer!
