Donations of new and gently used shoes can be brought to the church lobby before Sunday, June 4th. Erie United Methodist Alliance (EUMA) and All God’s Children Ministries/Ramps of Hope are holding their 5th Annual Shoe Drive to raise funds for their missions. Each bag of 25 pairs of shoes roughly means $10.00 for our outreach to those affected by homelessness and those with disabilities in need…and 25 people in developing nations who desperately need shoes will be able to walk more safely!
Jacob Rendall will be building a Raised Garden Bed for our preschool this spring for his Eagle Scout Project! To raise funds, he will be having a bake sale and accepting donations after church in coffee fellowship next Sunday, May 21.
On May 14th we will receive a special offering of food and money to benefit Backpacks for Hunger, which provides food for children in the Fox Chapel School District. Food items can be brought to the church anytime between now and May 14th, when they will be placed on the altar in honor of all the women in our church. Food items needed include: cans of soup, ravioli, spaghetti, single-serve macaroni & cheese, single-serve cereal boxes, single-serve applesauce & fruit; peanut butter jars or single serve size; cheese/peanut butter crackers; ramen noodles; slim jims; and protein bars.
On Sunday, 4/30 our Guest Preacher will be Rev. Paul Taylor, the District Superintendent of the Pittsburgh District in the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
On Sunday, 4/23 our Guest Preacher will be Dr. Steven Tuell, the James A. Kelso Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Join the adult choir at Faith for three Holy Week services- Palm Sunday (April 9), Maundy Thursday (April 13) and Easter Sunday (April 16). Rehearsals will take place March 30 and April 6 at 7:30pm, April 13 from 8-9pm, and on Sunday mornings April 13 and April 16 prior to worship at 8:45 AM.
