Since 2014
Roots of Faith
Roots of Faith is dedicated to alleviating poverty and improving the quality of life for the people of Sharpsburg and nearby communities.
Our Purpose
As economic and social landscapes shift, we work to ensure that all residents—especially low-income households—have access to essential services, stable housing, and opportunities for financial mobility.
As an anchor in the Sharpsburg community, ROF provides vital programs five days a week at our Main Street location. Our services include The Neighborhood Table (TNT)—a weekly meal fostering connection alongside legal, medical, and social work services; the Social Services Hub, offering critical support for food, housing, and crisis needs; and The Next Table, our newest initiative addressing poverty with a holistic, community-driven approach.
To expand our impact, ROF is pursuing independent 501(c)(3) status and launching an affordable housing development in 2025. Through collaboration and advocacy, we are committed to ensuring that Sharpsburg remains a place where all residents can thrive.
