The Neighborhood Table
1st-4th Thursdays of the month
Doors open at 5:30pm // Dinner served at 6pm
A free community dinner open to all. Weather permitting during the summer, TNT meets outside for a block party in the Second Harvest parking lot. Each week is a little different with community awareness speakers, important resources from partner organizations, social work services, and more. Don’t need community resources? No problem, we’d love to share a table with you. No RSVP needed- just drop in! We hope to see you there.
There is no Neighborhood Table in the instance of the fifth Thursdays of the month.
Dinners are provided on a rotating basis by volunteers from Faith UMC, Glenshaw Presbyterian, Adat Shalom, and Aspinwall Presbyterian Church.

Legal Clinic
A free legal clinic during the Neighborhood Table on the first Thursday of the month in partnership with the Pepper Hamilton and Dickie McCamey law firms.

Pop-Up Community Partners
The second or fourth weeks of the month may feature local community sponsors and their resources- keep your eyes open for surprise pop-up visits! The best way to find out is to be there.
Ask a Social Worker
Connecting you with resources when you need assistance with rent, utilities, emergency food, and applying for benefits. Contact 412-799-0111.
Ask a Doctor
Free health screenings and an opportunity to speak with a doctor on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Health professionals come from UPMC St. Margaret’s hospital.
Block Party
TNT Thursdays throughout the summer become outdoor Block Parties when the weather permits. Join us in the Second Harvest parking lot- it’ll be a party!

Circles Sharpsburg
Tuesdays, 5:30pm at Roots of Faith.
Circles is an anti-poverty program that matches low-income Leaders with middle– and upper-income Allies to provide people with the resources, support, community, and advice that they need to thrive.
Current needs include:
-Allies to pair with incoming leaders
-Group meals for Tuesdays. Can you help?

Roots of Faith is a wonderful place to expand your community, have a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities, and a chance to fulfill community service hours. Hands are always needed to help for the Neighborhood Table, Circles Sharpsburg, fundraiser and community events, and even maintenance. Want to know how you can help out?
