The Great Heinz Caper Part 2 “Murder on Main Street” will bring amateur sleuths to the streets of Sharpsburg to solve a fictional crime. Prizes for best costumes and the team to solve the crime the fastest will be awarded at the conclusion of the live game of clue. You can get involved in this community-building fundraiser for Roots of Faith by: volunteering during the caper, becoming a caper sponsor, or purchasing tickets to participate in the caper. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Joseph Marasco Jr, peacefully with his family on July 15th, 2024 at Amelia Island, FL. Joe Marasco was a long-time member and leader of Faith United Methodist Church, and he and his family have remained a faithful part of the community throughout the years. You can read his full obituary here.
His memorial service will be held at Faith United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00am, following a private burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following organizations: Pittsburgh Opera, Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival, Faith United Methodist Church, and Amelia Plantation Chapel.
